     Alternative: Muldai Viewpoint or Khopra Danda

  2. Chitwan National Park 🐊

    Why Overrated? Nepal’s top wildlife destination, home to rhinos, tigers, and elephants, with exciting jungle safaris and Tharu cultural experiences.
    But too touristy, with ethical concerns around elephant rides
     

    Alternative: Bardia National Park
  3.  Nagarkot 🌄

    Why Overrated? Popular for its sunrise and sunset views over the Himalayas, offering a quick escape from Kathmandu with scenic hiking trails.
    But overhyped for sunrise views, often cloud-covered.   

    Alternative: Dhulikhel or Balthali

  4.  Everest Base Camp (EBC) Trek 🏔️

    Why Overrated? A legendary trek offering breathtaking Himalayan views, a sense of achievement, and a chance to experience Sherpa culture up close.
    But heavily commercialized, expensive, and overcrowded.

    Alternative: Manaslu Circuit or Kanchenjunga Base Camp

    • But overcrowded, overpriced, and noisy.
